The casino is updated and clean and the employees were friendly, helpful, and respectful, and the hotel room taxes were minimal. The hotel gave us a discount for being AARP members, they also gave both of us $10.00 in free play in the casino and since it was our first time there, we both received an additional $10.00 in free play and we both received a free drink coupon valued at $2.50 each. The hotel is slightly noisy, you can actually hear people walk and feel a minor vibration as they do. We parked by the side door but our room access cards would not allow us entry. The hotel is old, the rooms are adequate, they’re small, but they’re clean, and there’s no continental breakfast. Our room was located on the second floor, there are no elevators, as a senior, I was not thrilled having to wrestle our luggage up a flight of stairs.
When we checked in, we were greeted by two women, the younger woman was very, very unfriendly, downright grouchy. My wife and I stayed at the Ojibaw Hotel and Casino.
